Yelp Business Performance and Customer Satisfaction Analysis

What separates a thriving Yelp business from others and can data tell owners what to change? This project analyzes 150,000+ businesses across the Yelp dataset using BigQuery to map the relationship between review dynamics, rating patterns, and business performance. Tableau dashboards translate complex patterns into accessible visual stories for business owners, highlighting key drivers like review recency, sentiment consistency, and response behavior. The goal: give small business owners a clearer picture of how customer feedback shapes their reputation and what levers they can pull to improve it.
